Please be aware that University Policy requires that all students' accounts be in good standing prior to Fall registration. Therefore, you may be unable to register for fall classes if you have an outstanding financial hold on your account.
Students can pay their financial hold and view their account over the web at: https://finservices.rutgers.edu/finhold. Financial holds from the Parking Department must be paid through their website at http://rudots.rutgers.edu to ensure proper removal of the hold.
Click here for additional information regarding the financial holds process.
Students transitioning from an undergraduate to a graduate program are also required to complete an exit interview.

Students are given a choice of using an existing health insurance plan or enrolling in a University-sponsored student health insurance plan.
Students who have existing insurance will be required to complete an on-line waiver showing proof of insurance each academic year. Students who are new to the University for the Spring semester (or were part-time in the Fall and will be full-time in the Spring) must show proof of health insurance by January 30, 2012.
If students do not provide their policy information through www.firststudent.com, they will be automatically charged an annual premium of $750 ($375 per semester) for the University sponsored health plan. Students must visit www.firststudent.com to enroll and receive their health insurance cards. Click here for instructions detailing how to enroll or waive online.

Your RU Book Advance account of $500 will be automatically set up for you unless your financial aid refund is less than $500, or you elect to decline establishing the account.
(Note: The amount received from Parent PLUS loans are not included in the refund calculation.) For more information and instructions, click here.
In addition to reducing the time it takes to receive a refund, our electronic refund system eliminates the possibility of a refund being lost in the mail or stolen, and provides email notification alerting the student that a refund has been processed. Click here for more information about how RU ScholarRefund works. To enroll, log onto your account online with your NetID and password.
Click here to access the Net Price Calculator tool. Note: The results are an estimate based on 2011-2012 Rutgers costs and do not represent any guarantee of cost or your actual financial aid package.
