What is the due date for my term bill?

The due date for your term bill can be found online on your Account Summary. Log in to view your student account.

Can I make a payment over the phone?

We cannot accept payments over the phone. However, you can pay by e-check, credit card, or mailed checks or money orders. Learn more about payment options.

How can I pay my bill?

Online: You can pay your term bill online with e-check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express. Log in to your student account to pay online.
In person: You can also pay your bill with cash, check, or money order at any of our cashier's offices. Find a cashier's office on campus.
Mail: You can mail your check or money order to Term Bill Processing, P.O. Box 2021, New Brunswick, NJ 08903. Make sure you properly prepare your check or money order.

Is there a charge to pay online?

There is no additional charge to pay by electronic check (e-check). There is a 2.5 percent service fee charged by the credit card company for using Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express. Learn more about payment options.

What happens if I don't pay my bill when it is due?

Payments must be made and posted by the payment due date listed on your online student statement of account to avoid a late payment charge. You will be charged a late payment fee of $125 if you make your payment after the due date.

How do I get a NetID to view my account? 

All faculty, staff, and students are assigned a Rutgers unique identifier, known as a NetID. It is comprised of initials and a unique number (e.g. jqs23), and is required to access many Rutgers online services, including viewing your student account or accessing your student email. Visit NetID Management to activate (set up) your NetID or for technical assistance.

What are your office hours?

Our offices are open for your convenience Monday through Friday. Hours of operation vary by location. Contact the cashier's office directly to verify its hours. You may also access your student account online. Log in to view your account at any time.

Why was my e-check returned?

There are two possibles reasons:
1. You had insufficient funds at the time the payment posted to your account. You will need to check with your banking institution.
2. You entered your account information incorrectly, in which case you will need to visit one of our cashiers' offices to correct the information.

Why is my financial aid not showing on my student account?

Please check the status of your award and required documents on Office of Financial Aid website. If you need an extension on your term bill due date, contact us immediately.

I have an outside loan. Why is it not credited to my account?

The Office of Financial Aid is responsible for certifying and disbursing your loan. Until it is credited to your student account, you may need to request an extension on your term bill due date. If you need an extension on your term bill due date, contact us immediately.
