Statement of Account
Rutgers provides a Statement of Account to facilitate the preparation of your federal tax returns, and to help determine whether you are eligible to claim education tax credits.
Download your Statement of Account from the Tax Statements website. The Statement of Account includes payment information and other charges and credits.
The payment dates reported reflect the date your payment was posted to your account, not the date you wrote the check. Review your records to confirm the dates on which your payments were made and to which calendar year the payments apply.
For example, if you wrote your check on December 30, 2015, and we recorded your payment on January 3, 2016, your payment should be considered a calendar year 2016 payment for IRS tax purposes.
