Refunds -- Check Distribution

For students who have Financial Aid, your Financial Aid will be applied to your Student Account to cover your semester tuition and fee charges after you have completed all of the paperwork for the award package. If the financial aid awarded exceeds your tuition and fee balance due, you will be entitled to receive a refund of the credit balance on your account.

You can check your refund status on your Student Account Statement on line at our web site: www.studentabc.rutgers.edu

COMING SOON - You will be able to have your refund electronically deposited to your bank checking or savings account.

Checks will be available for pick up with a valid student ID at the cashier’s office listed on your Student Account, four business days after the date the refund appears on your account.

Due to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), our policy does not allow us to release refund information by telephone to anyone, so you may need to check your student account statement on-line.

Refunds can also be mailed to your permanent home address on file by completing a form called "Mail my refund check". You may fax or mail the form to our office.
