Get Vaccinated Against Meningitis B

ACTION REQUIRED - New Brunswick Undergraduate Students: Get Vaccinated Against Meningitis B
All undergraduate students need to get the full 3-dose series of the vaccine Trumenba® in order to have the best protection against meningitis B in this outbreak situation. This includes all on-campus, off-campus and commuter undergraduate students.
The first 2 doses, spaced 1-2 months apart, should be administered this summer.
The meningitis B vaccine is different than the meningitis "ACWY" vaccine, which is typically administered in junior high or high school (such as Menveo ® and Menactra ®).
Verification of each meningitis B vaccine dose received or declination is required prior to arriving for the Fall 2016 semester.
Meningitis B can be deadly within hours or days of getting sick. It can also lead to severe disabilities, such as loss of limbs.
